Taking this time to practice Sankalpa, we listen to our hearts desires, and look forward with hope, dreaming the life we want to live, letting go of limiting thoughts, habits and emotions. Reflecting on what we've learned from the previous year and the wisdom we will take into this new year. You are unique in that no-one else has had your past, nor will they have your path to the future. Be present, be now, do what is right for you! *** Winter time is notorious for colds and flu, so it is essential to keep up a regular physical Yoga practice as it is a great defence against illness and remedies recovery if you do get ill. It's also important to keep supple as the body can stiffen up in the cold, joints become creaky and tensions builds in muscles. In order to meditate, the body needs to be strong, open and supple, so not to be distracted by aches and pains, or falling to sleep! This workshop will engage you in warming and limbering Vinyasa Flows, combined with Asanas stillness in poses, taking the time to reflect and learn about yourself. Pranayama breath work throughout the practice, supporting your respiratory system, physical practice and calming the mind. Reflective & Investigative - knowing you, setting intentions. Invigorating and Immune supporting. Meditative & Restorative
